At the 33rd Annual Conference of the Japan Coaching Association, Yasui (4th year student) gave a presentation in which he reported on how jumping performance changes when a small amount of resistance training is done 24 hours before the event. It is hoped that this can be used for peaking before a competition.

Specialized Seminar Presentation ( February 2, 2022)

The Specialized Seminar Presentations were held. Co-hosted with Hayashi's seminar, a total of 18 presentations were made (12 from Shirai's seminar). As a precaution against infection, the third-year students participated online, but they seemed to be able to get a feel for the atmosphere of the presentations. The fourth-year students seemed to have been practicing right up until the last minute to make their presentations easy to understand, and all of their presentations were excellent. Thank you for your hard work over the past two years. We'll see you again at the graduation ceremony!

2021.11.13

At the 68th Tokai Association of Physical Education Conference , Yasui Ren (4th year student) and Shirai gave oral presentations . This was the first time for seminar students to give a presentation at an academic conference, and they prepared by consulting with each other many times beforehand, and received various comments and advice from the attending professors. They hope to use this experience to help them write their graduation thesis.

Ren Yasui (4th year student) has been selected as a recipient of the Jodo Sect Soritsumon Sect Scholarship for 2021. This scholarship is for students attending universities affiliated with the Jodo Sect, and this year five students from our university were selected. Congratulations!

Summer Activities 2021

As part of an in-seminar exchange event during the summer vacation, some volunteers went to try windsurfing. Some of the fourth-year students had already tried it during their university practical training, but most of the third-year students were trying it for the first time. There are several places in Aichi Prefecture where you can enjoy marine sports, including windsurfing, and this time we went to Airborne in Shinmaiko.

In everyday life, we don't often pay much attention to the direction or strength of the wind, but during the experience, I was desperately trying to catch the wind and somehow move forward.

Summer Seminar 2021

Third and fourth year students gave research presentations on their respective themes. The fourth year students in particular gave presentations on the content and progress of their experiments, and received advice from other seminar students. Because there were so many students (23), it took a long time, but I think it gave them an opportunity to learn about the research that other seminar students are working on. From the fall semester onwards, we will be busy with regular seminars and experiments, but we will get through it by supporting each other.
